| Why use a pet sitter? |
Advantages for Your Pet:
- Less
stress- Pets are happiest when they are at home. Your pets
stay in their own environment where the smells, sounds and sights
are familiar to them and say "Home".
- Health
Concerns- With a pet sitter, there is virtually no exposure
to the illnesses of other animals.
- Diet
& Exercise- I follow your diet and exercise schedule as
closely as possible. This lessens the chance to upset your pet
while you're away.
- Travel
Stress- Since your pet stays at home, there is no stress
during a car ride to a boarding facility for your pet.
- Special
Attention- Your pet will receive extra special, one-on-one
attention from me while you are away. All pets need TLC!
Advantages for You:
- Peace
of Mind- You can feel confident your pet is in the care
of a capable person. You are more than welcome to call me while
you are away to check up on your pet too!
- No
Imposition- You don't have to ask a friend or neighbor to
take care of your pet! Instead, you can depend on a professional
who you know will put your pet's needs first.
- Special
Services- I also bring in the mail and newspaper, water
plants, bring trash to the curb, rotate lights and give the house
a "lived in" look to deter criminals.

| Why do you require that cats get visited at least once per day? |
While
most people think cats can survive on their own, veterinarians
recommend that cats be visited once per day. Illnesses come on
quickly in cats and are also well hidden by them. Plus, cats need
fresh
food and water on a daily basis as well.
|
| How
much do you charge? |
Fees
are reasonable and based on the number of visits per day. Learn
more about my fees on the PRICES page.
|
| What
happens if my pet gets sick while I'm away? |
Before
you leave, I will get emergency contact information from you. If
I can't reach you, and I still think your pet needs medical attention,
I will take your pet to the vet you see regularly. If your vet's
office closed, I will either take your pet to the Vet Emergency
Center on S. 48th St. or to an open vet office. You are responsible
for all veterinary expenses.
|
| Can
I pay with a credit card? |
The
only forms of payment Molli's Happy Tails accepts are cash and
check.
|
| Will
you meet my pet before I leave? |
Of
course! Before I begin caring for your pet, I will come over and
meet your pet. At that time you can tell me everything I need to
know to properly care for your pet!
|
| What
if my trip is shortened or extended while I'm away? |
Just
call me at 202-0949 if you will be home earlier or later than expected
and we can make arrangements then. I ask that all returning clients
call me when you get home. If you are expected to return home,
and I haven't heard from you, I will return to your home and care
for your pet. You will be charged for these visits, so please call
when you return home!
